- 오랜만에 Chairperson이다. GE, Evaluator까지 하다 보니, 무대 너무 오래 서 있었다. 다음에는 스스로 조정능력을 길러야 겠다.
1. 892회 미팅의 Theme은 ‘Break’, Theme Question은 ‘What are your thoughts on the break(vacation)?”이다.
2. 여름휴가철이다. 참석 인원이 적어서 double hat*을 썼는데 오랜만에 온 멤버, 중국 뉴질랜드에서 온 guest 등 13명이나 참석하여 즐거운 시간을 가졌다.
3. Review session에서는 Immediate Past President께서 Log Book(Timer, Ah Counter, Grammarian)에 대한 안내를 한다 (Session introduces how best to use the logbooks). 그리고 새로운 Cover Page Design을 제안하는데, 한 멤버가 voluntarily 지원한다, 아름다운 풍경이다!!
4. Table Topic 세션에 우리는 China style, New Zealand style, Scotland style, Korea style 등 휴식에 대한 다양한 이야기를 나눴다. 한 친구는 여행, 휴식 중 항상 챙기는 것으로 (one thing you always pack) ‘책’을 선택하고, 그 친구의 여친는 그 ‘책’을 읽는 남친을 사랑스럽게 쳐다본다고 한다, 또다른 아름다운 풍경이다!!
5. 첫번째 연설자는 “Effective Body Language” 프로젝트이다, Title은 “What My Hands Have Learned”이다, 그녀의 표현들이다. (from James’ logbook) “Take a moment to look at your hands”, “I want you to take a moment and thank the things that your hands have given you”, “These hands bought a ticket to fly to Seoul”. 난 그녀의 평가자이고, 이렇게 적어서 주었다. (아래 6,7,8번)
6. New style of speech, you became your hands, you changed the subject from I(YOU) to MY HANDS(Your hands). This trial can make you see the world in different view point, I think, not from your ordinary idea but from your hands' idea. Audiences just followed what your hands told and what your hands moved.
7. Your speech went beyond 'Effective Body Language' and reached to 'Inspiring Body Language'. I think you can do anything^^ You can be your knees, your shoulders, your feet, whatever, then your other body parts can introduce another special view about your life.
8. You are really good at speech, so I recommend you to challeng 'speech contest' next year, usually starting from Feb. (club, area, division, district, region, then international). I am so glad that Yeouido toastmaster has this wonderful speaker as a member! Apprecaite it once again for your fantastic delivery, Frances!

10. Here are from grammarian logbook – She became a queen ever after, and I want to find my love soon. I conquered difficult people. I am not 대구 style, who always sleep like Hannah vs. I don’t read books, I just watch August. Not a luxury, essential for our life. These bought a ticket to fly to Seoul. Our hands bring us through all of that. Since I came to this country, I feel like I belong.
11. VPE로서 8월 한달간 role assignment를 진행했다. 다음에는 차분하고 큼직큼직한 스케일로 해보자고^^
오늘 여행의 한 줄 마무리
무대에서 스스로 조절하는 여유, 이게 토마의 능력이다. Chairperson, GM, Table Topic Speaker, 거기에 VPE role sign up for month, 너무 오래 서 있었다. 그 동안 뭘 배웠나 싶다. 최소한 table topic speaker 요청되었을 때, 다른 사람에게 양보 했어야 했다.
찐토마, 작은 것부터 다시 생각해 볼 태도이다.
