Dear fellow Toastmasters,
I would like to announce a few changes regarding upcoming club meetings and speech contests due to recent Novel Corona Virus issues.
1. Districts will provide Zoom online meeting tool to clubs wants to have online meetings. Please check the list of Zoom Leaders and their supporting clubs from another posting by Sonia Kim, Program Quality Director of District 93. These great district leaders make additional time to support each club voluntarily.
2. Unfortunately we do not expect off line speech contest is possible due to the same reason. Therefore we will review and adopt online speech contest for club and Area level. Division level will be confirmed by end of March. Final direction from Toastmasters International will be provided soon.
3. Table Topic speech contest will be canceled because of difficulties in online system. This change will reduce burden of preparing speech contests of Club officers and District leaders.
