I'm pleased to announce the Speech Contest categories for next year.
The item was confirmed during the District Council Meeting on September 20th, 2026.
Please find the detailed requirements below 
*All participants are required to be an active member of a club in good standing to advance to the next stages.
The speech contest is one of the most valuable self-development journeys in the Toastmasters curriculum.
The following are some of the great benefits a participant can gain just by joining;
Accelerated Public Speaking Growth, High-Level Feedback, Confidence & Mental Resilience, Networking Expansion
The reason we have decided on the speech contest type is to have as many participants join with enough lead time to prepare for their 'speech of the year'.
To encourage new and seasoned members' participation, the Program Quality Committee is planning workshops as follows.

1) 2026-OCT-17: First-time participants

2-1) 2026-NOV: Seasoned speakers
Lead by Do-Hyeong Kim, DTM & Special, International guest speaker!
2-2) 2026-NOV: Potential Judges
