Dear District 93 Toastmaster Members,
It’s time to select District-93 leader candidates for the new program year starting July 1st, 2026. I hereby open nominations for District-93 leadership positions.
The positions open for nomination are: District Director, Program Quality Director, Club Growth Director, and Division Directors (Divisions A to D).
District Officers of Toastmasters International play a vital role in supporting Toastmaster members as they grow and enjoy their journey. District leaders plan and manage district events, training sessions, provide counsel to member clubs, and foster a collaborative environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to broaden perspectives by connecting with diverse members and developing practical-leadership skills by achieving team-driven successes that go beyond individual efforts. Most important, new district leaders must support the following mission statement: “We build new clubs and support all clubs in achieving excellence.”
Please be encouraged to nominate individuals who would make excellent district leaders. Self-nominations are also welcome. Nominations will be accepted to me (Scott Kines, DLC Chair) and to my email address at ipdd@district93.org until February 28th, 2026. See below for the nomination form and candidate application.
In addition, candidates must submit the ‘District Leader Agreement and Release’ form, and the ‘District Leader Biographical Information’ as an email attachment to me at ipdd@district93.org no later than by the official deadline of Saturday, March 21st (2026) which is eight weeks before the District-93 Council Meeting on May 16th, 2026. See below for necessary forms.
Please note, to be recommended by the District Leadership Committee (DLC), to be elected, and to hold office, a member must meet the following requirements.
- Be a member in good standing of a Toastmasters club in good standing.
- Meet the qualifications of the position. (See Below)
- Consent to being nominated and sign the District Leader Agreement and Release Statement. (See Below)
- Fill out the District Leader Biographical Form. (See Below)
At the time a nomination form is submitted, the nominee is not yet considered a “candidate” per district-leadership committee guidelines. Furthermore, eligible floor candidates shall declare their intent to run in writing to the DLC Chair after the DLC report has been published and at least one (1) week prior to the annual District Council meeting (May 16th, 2026).
Thank you in advance for your proactive participation in this very important process.
Best regards,
Scott Kines, DTM
